Event Rental FAQs

While other rental companies require an average of $5,000 in product, we pride ourselves on just a $850 minimum. We do have exclusive relationships with certain venues where a minimum does not apply. Please reach out to us to see if your venue is on the list of our preferred partners. We also do not have a minimum for pick up items however not all inventory items are able to be picked up.

Once our wish list questionnaire is filled out we are able to convert these both into a quote that will stay active in our system for 12 days. We would need a deposit to lock in your date and order of 30%.

We require a 30% non refundable deposit to lock in your date and order and final payment will be due 30 days before your big day. You can make tweaks to your contract up until 6 weeks for our team to edit the order and have it ready for final payments 30 days out. 

You can make changes to any order up until 6 weeks to the big day. We require you to stay above the $850 minimum or 50% of your accepted quote whichever is higher.

We can travel anywhere in the states of Illinois and Ohio,  however our weddings are typically in the Chicago metro area and surrounding suburbs in Illinois  and  Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio metro areas and surrounding suburbs in Ohio.  If the wedding is outside of these areas the minimum becomes $2,000 in product.

At Elegant Design Rentals, we offer design consultation services only.  Our sister company, however- myweddingva.com offers wedding assistants to help you handle tasks and day of coordinators to brides who are doing their own planning to make it a stress free today!

We would suggest putting 20% of your entire wedding budget to the side for design. Design starts from the beginning of the end through the night. Design is in all of your pictures that last a lifetime. Design consist of rentals and flowers.

We do repurpose however we do charge a flat rate for this service which does vary on venue and items.

Our team does same night pick up however if its after 10:30pm there is a late night charge added.

We charge 22% for delivery, set up and strike over the order. Sometimes this may vary depending on multiple locations, items, amount of staff needed etc. 22% is our base for all orders.

All of our inventory gets wear and tear at each event. The damage waiver not only helps provide a high quality product but almost every wedding a charger plate, napkin flatware etc is lost. If the damage is under the waiver we do not contact you due to having this on the order.
